EXP3 FINAL MAP

Flying screenshot:
The entrance to Slim's space is quite remote and isolated, reflecting his solitariness and aggressive independence.

Dining Table/Datum/Meeting Space:
The dining table showing both individual (pinnalce) and communal (circular table panel) power. The meeting space itself is moderately sized, as both clients would spend the majority of their time in their respective office spaces.

Corridor through to Slim's table/office:
The relative size of the person to the giant angled panels create a sense of inferiority and powerlessness. The use of light creates a sense of something great and almost godlike at the end of the corridor, reinforcing a Slim's hold on power.

Corridor cont.:
The corridor is purposely long to create a climax when one finally reaches Slim whose table is placed on a high platform. The office space is purely for his individual use (he presumably sends demands to workers electronically).

View from Slim's desk:
From Slim's perspective, one can see that he feels a great sense of power through the angled panels pointed towards him and the abundance of light. His superiority and power are also represented through him sitting on a platform, standing above anyone else.

View from Datum downwards on Tata's Space:
Tata's space is more communal and caters for more workers (himself & his top 4 advisors). Note that Tata's office space is given a "meeting space" of its own, encouraging him and his workers to socialise and communicate. Tata's office is just like the others, yet slightly higher, as he is still the leader.

One of the 5 Office "Pods":
Designed for one person, the size of the office 'pod' is a comfortable size with a large table.

View from Office to Communal Area:
Conference and foyer area for conferences and discussions.

Dining Table

The pinnacle holding the circular table panel up is used to represent the strength and power of the individual, whereas the circular table itself highlights the importance of community and a greater network of helpers in achieving and maintaining power; providing a contrast of the clients which will appear in the datum/meeting space.

EXP3 Draft 2

Overall Map shown through a flying shot. Note that Slim's office is remote and secluded whereas Tata's office is communal and open.

Corridor through Slim's office space (Slim's desk is at the very end). Reflects a feeling of insignificance, walking towards something far greater and superior. This effect is intentionally enhanced through the lighting going from dark to light.

View of the corridor from Slim's desk. Feeling of power due to the angled panels, lighting and platform on which he sits.
View down onto Tata's space. Note the personal pods for each worker including Tata (who is just like everyone else.) Tata's space also holds its own meeting space just for his workers.

View onto the communal opening.

Elevators

Elevator for Carlos Slim:

Small elevator intended to cater for one person at a time, revealing Slim's solitariness. The pinnacle at the top alludes to his power and aggressive character, where the columns on each corner within the elevator are at shoulder height and represent his monopoly. Slim's elevator will move at a fairly high pace to reflect his demanding nature.

Elevator for Ratan Tata:

Tata's elevator is intended for more than one person (himself and his advisors). It has a circular shape and contains a bench within which encourages communication amongest workers. This is further encouraged through the slow moving pace.
